Bible Verses About Hardness of Heart – “Hardness of heart” is a condition of the heart that is unresponsive to God. The Bible speaks of this condition in many places, and it is clear that it is not a good thing. The Bible says that a hardened heart is one of the things that God hates (Proverbs 6:16-19).
A hardened heart is characterized by a refusal to repent and obey God. It is proud and self-righteous, unwilling to admit its need for God. The hardened heart is also callous and insensitive to the things of God. It does not weep over sin or grieve over the loss.
If you have a hardened heart, the Bible says you need to ask God to soften and give you a new heart (Ezekiel 36:26). Only He can change your heart and make it responsive to Him.
